NEIL THOMSON - Consultant
Neil has had some 48 years' experience in areas of property, subdivision, partnership, companies, societies, wills, estate planning and family trusts with many long-term client families. Over the years he has also been in positions of leadership in many organisations including St. Andrew's College and the Canterbury Club.
Neil retains a keen interest in new technology and in art. He retired as a partner in 2006 but remains with the firm.

Peter has practised in Christchurch for 48 years after completing BA and LLB degrees at the University of Canterbury. His principal areas of practice are conveyancing, rest home administration, trusts, wills and estates. Peter has participated in many sports and maintains an enthusiastic interest in gardening, sport and the arts.

Kate attended University of Canterbury where she completed a BA (History) in 1995 and an LLB in 1998. Since admission Kate has worked in both Invercargill and Christchurch acquiring a broad range of legal experience including criminal, employment, family, civil and commercial law. In the past she has served on the Boards of Maori Legal Services in Christchurch and Southland Community Law Centre. She was President of the Canterbury University Branch of AIESEC (International Association of Business Students) and Secretary of Maori Law Students’ Association (Te Putairiki). |

Hamish has extensive experience advising clients on a broad range of legal issues including in the areas of company and commercial law, joint ventures, real property and trusts. Hamish is the great grandson of one of the firm’s founders, Mr A S Taylor. |

Carolyn completed an LLB (Honours) at the University of Canterbury in 1998 and was then employed as a Judge’s Clerk at the High Court in Christchurch for two years. She was admitted to the bar in 2001 and worked at a Christchurch firm, specialising in family law. |

Korina graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2006 with an LLB and BA in English and joined Cuningham Taylor as a solicitor in 2007. Her areas of expertise are Commercial and Property law with a focus on Residential & Commercial Conveyancing and Family Trusts. |
